Tastes of the North Garden Party is a boutique day out with live music, cooking demonstrations, garden party attire, a fantastic selection of Northland craft beer and wine from our many vineyards and a big focus on delicious local produce.
The festival is located on the front lawn of the Copthorne Hotel and Resort, Bay of Islands, where you can look directly out into the Bay. There will even be lawn games!
Entertainment ranges from Jazz through to sought after Auckland band Coachella, who play a wide range of styles from modern indi/folk to country classics, pop hits to old school rock & roll – they bring a unique energy which gets everyone up dancing, and are a perfect way to end the night!
Our celebrity Chef Anna Valentine will be doing cooking demonstrations during the day. Anna was the creator of the first commercial Kumara Chips in NZ, she produced two seasonal “The Veggie Tree” Cookbooks, has her own cooking school in Northland and says she’s inspired by the fresh produce Northland has to offer. She is fun and vibrant and will be a pleasure to watch!
