The circus is part of the Paihia Summer Festival of events schedule.
Biggest Littlest Circus – 2 pm and 7 pm performances on each day listed (50 minute shows).
An action packed, high energy explosion of circus street theatre! Including everything from high skilled juggling and aerial acrobatics to a human changing room. You can’t miss their leopard print leotards, and you don’t want to miss their finale! Fresh from a tour across Canada, this is a show with a whole lot of laughs, kiwi charm and Lycra.
Imogen Stone, Zane Jarvie and Degge Jarvie were born and bred in Wellington, New Zealand – these three kiwis have created a vibrant and colourful show for the whole family. They have been performing circus since childhood and have now travelled nationally and internationally.
Dream Garden – 9pm performances on each day (30 minute show).
Step into our dream. This beautiful, skillful and surreal performance combines aerial circus, projection art and comedy. You can’t be sure what’s real and what’s dream, so sit up the front, get a good view and enjoy the show!
‘Dream Garden’ – an aerial silk duet performed outdoors for all to enjoy. Combined, Imogen Stone and Jackson Cordery have specialised in aerial silk for over 12 years. This show is inspired by their own dreams – dreams of being an astronaut, a superhero, of running away, of flying and falling.
Please note – 7th January 4pm is a Circus Workshop not a show – free for all children and young adults to join is – this is part of the Summer Festival and will be held on the Paihia Village Green
Makers of Entertainment provide an awesome circus in a small space and are perfect for the summer holidays in Paihia – appealing to the visitors as well as our local community this will be the 3rd time we have had the pleasure to have this circus in town.
It is a busking show. At the end, we will pass the hat (or backpack as it happens to be) and ask for koha.
