Focus Paihia PRESS RELEASE 13 APRIL 2010
Continuing on from an excellent response from the Far North District Council, Focus Paihia will conduct a workshop on Wednesday 26 May. Community members from the wider Paihia area are warmly invited to attend and share their ideas.
The meeting will provide an update on what has been happening and outline what is planned. This includes asking for feedback on the proposed community trust and the Te Haumi project. People are also asked to bring along four ideas of what they would like to see and four ideas of what they would not like to see developed in Paihia, based on a contemporary, maritime theme. This information will be used to develop a brief for a concept design competition for the CBD area.
The workshop will be held at The Paihia Pacific Resort, Kings Road, commencing just after 5.30pm.
