ITM FISHING SHOW HOOKS TRAVEL MANAGERS

Travel Managers Named Official Travel Sponsor of ITM Fishing Show
Auckland, February 2011 – The ITM Fishing Show is proud to announce Travel Managers Group as official travel sponsor.

Tightlines Television, producers of the ITM Fishing Show, today announced a partnership which is sure to see the ITM Fishing Show travel to even more exotic locations. As both travel sponsor and partner the Travel Managers Group will be responsible for all of the travel arrangements for the ITM Fishing Show cast and crew.

New Zealand’s most popular fishing programme, The ITM Fishing Show with Matt Watson has been a top performer, airing Saturdays at 5.30pm on TV3, but such is the popularity of the show that it is set to make a move into prime time to capitilise on the wide reach of the show.

Travel Managers Group was formed in 2002 and is New Zealand’s only 100% broker based retail travel group. Each manager is an expert in their field, and Megan Batterton, who was instrumental in negotiating the partnership, will be the lead broker for the ITM Fishing Show.

ITM Fishing Show Presenter Matt Watson says, “We like to be continually covering new ground with the show, so that means new locations, new fish and new challenges. After 150 episodes we have to start looking further a field, and having a partner like Travel Managers is just what we need. I’ve thrown out some pretty bizarre ideas and some out-there locations and Meg hasn’t even batted an eyelid, she’s just said ‘not a problem’. I just can’t wait to get out there and roll some tape because we’ve got some awesome trips lined up.”
