CarinoNZ33

Relax and Unwind with us in the Bay.

Sit back, relax, unwind and let wind power carry you around the Bay.

Surrounded by deep blue water, vivid green islands and diverse wildlife, sailing on Carino NZ our 50ft catamaran is the best way to experience the stunning bay of islands.

Be inspired by the amazing wildlife with us!

Dolphins, penguins, gannets and seabirds are frequently sighted. The photo opportunities are spectacular!

As the only yacht licensed to view and research dolphins, this is your chance to learn and be inspired by our local wildlife and crew.

We are conscious of the need to protect the dolphins and respect their habitat. Interaction with the dolphins depends on their behaviour. Remember our dolphins are completely wild.

Help us gather information about seabird populations, while learning more about them yourself. The bay of Islands is a regionally significant area for seabirds.

The Waitangi Treaty Grounds is New Zealand’s most important historic site where in 1840 New Zealand’s founding document was signed: the Treaty of Waitangi. The Treaty Grounds features the Museum of Waitangi, the Treaty House, the carved Meeting House and the world’s largest ceremonial war canoe. Enjoy strolling through one of New Zealand’s great beauty spots with its panoramic views of the Bay of Islands. Visitors to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds purchase a Day Pass that includes a guided tour of the grounds and a cultural performance in the carved Meeting House.

Hangi & Concert evenings are scheduled from 1 October to the 30 April.

The Museum of Waitangi opened in February 2016 and tells the story of Maori and European contact and the ongoing development of New Zealand as a nation through a mix of traditional museum displays and interactive technology; including digital labels and large-scale audio-visual displays.

The Waitangi Golf Course not only provides an exciting and ever changing challenge to the golfer but also the most tremendous panorama of sea and island views over the Bay of Islands and Russell, river and estuary views over Waitangi and Opua and rolling bush and forest views inland over Mount Bledisloe and Puketona.

The Waitangi Golf Club has just opened a new green, extending the par 5 Third Hole by 66 metres … making that relatively easy Birdie or even eagle opportunity that much harder at now over 500 metres in length. Along with the extended metres the new 3rd green itself is elevated and has deceptive undulations and borrows to challenge the putter once reached. Add the beautiful Par 5, 11th Hole, with it’s view across the Bay of Islands, your round of golf will be “just wonderful”.

Waitangi Golf Club, ProShop and course, come and play now!
