Business Paihia holds:
- regular members meetings

- produces a monthly newsletter

- works with organisations such as local bodies, national tourism operators, government bodies and regional business associations thus promoting the views of our local business community.

- We have developed and promoted this website www.paihianz.co.nz- where members can list for free

- Business Paihia organises annual events such as Christmas Parade, the Summer Festival the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular and the Mid-Winter Matariki Festival, and support local events, conferences, sports events and cruise ship visits. Of course we are always open to further involvement in successful ‘draw cards’ to our community

- We have strengthened cooperative relationships with other community groups such as the Residents’ and Ratepayers‘ Association, the Motel Association and the Hotel and Major Operators’ Group to provide a strong community voice in submissions to the Far North District Council.

- Business Paihia sponsors the Community Patrol and works closely with NZ police to address security and safety issues in Paihia.

- Business Paihia was successful in implementing the Clean up Graffiti Scheme in Paihia

- We have created a DVD of Business Paihia members videos of their businesses and products and this is displayed around town - at no cost to the member
